Preparing for Thanksgiving!
We have been on the hunt for a new stove & finally found the one we wanted!
When we built our house almost 3 years ago we bought a basic electric stove to use temporarily until we could install a gas stove. An old friend of ours came to visit and walked into our kitchen and started singing the tune from Sesame Street, "One of these things is not like the others!". It clearly just didn't belong. We have all high end stainless appliances & the little white electric stove that COULD. And IT did until about a month ago. Well, the oven element snapped in two, so we were forced to finally break down & buy the commercial gas stove of our dreams! I guess I will have to attempt to cook a few gourmet meals once it shows up! Hopefully it will be delivered before Thanksgiving! We are having 20+ people for Dinner! Cross your fingers!

SNOW?
Yes ***SNOW*** !!!
We had a thin layer on the ground. We didn't get enough to coat the trees, but it would have looked beautiful if it did(photo is borrowed). There were school delays & cancellations. But of course, for Simsbury school was open. So child #4, aka Reilly, had to drive off to school, in the snow, for the first time. I was very nervous. She has only had her license for a week. Hopefully, this will be the last we see of the white stuff for a while!
