Off To High Point!

It is know as the furniture capitol of the country

Of course, that is why my daughter chose to go to college there!

She was trying to make her mother happy!

 I'm sure it had nothing to do with the beautiful campus & the fact that the weather stays above 30 degrees vs. the frigid temperatures in the Northeast.

We are very excited, yet very nervous driving 12 hours away to drop our youngest of 4 off at school, but I guess it is just another chapter in this crazy book we are writing, LIFE!

4th on the Block 2011

What a great 4th of July week we had on Block Island!
We stayed in the perfect house, Ball House, perched on the edge of the salt pond, overlooking the beach & town. We sat on the porch most of the week, the weather couldn't have been better.

All of our children were there, Debbey & Steven had their 2 sons were out. Plus, everyone invited friends. We had a house full! I think it was the best vacation I have had in a long time. Timmy & I clammed & got plenty of clams for everyone to eat for a few nights, they were sooo delicious! Debbey's friend Kathy had a black pearl in her clam (they are quite rare)!
